How to choose your consumables to reduce your environmental impact and avoid greenwashing

Labcon’s action in the last 20 years which have led to a reduction of environmental impact and have drastically reduced greenhouse gas emissions from disposable labware and how this has translated into more sustainable products will be briefly presented.
Labcon’s partnership with the non-profit organization My Green Lab for unbiased evaluations of the impact of its products on the environment through the ACT label (Accountability, Consistency, Transparency) will also be discussed. We will see how the label works and how it can support laboratories in making more informed decisions when choosing optimal consumables.
